Nicola works in the SPRINT Programme Office at the University of Leicester. She supports the Head of the Programme and other SPRINT colleagues across the partner universities.

Rain is Head of the national SPRINT programme. She is based at SPRINT’s lead university partner, the University of Leicester, where she is taking a sabbatical from her role as Head of the Space Engineering and Technology Division at the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC).

Prof. Andrew Holland based at The Open University is an expert in detector physics and has worked on the development of a number of successful space instruments.

Professor Andy Mount is currently the Dean of Research in the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Edinburgh, leading strategic research development.

Colin as Head of Local Growth Strategy leads a small team within the UK Space Agency providing a local focus to efforts to grow the space sector across the UK including at Harwell.

Professor David Sampson joined the University of Surrey in January 2018 as Vice-Provost, Research and Innovation, where he is responsible for all matters research and innovation, including: strategy and future direction, supporting services for researchers, research training and the Doctoral College, knowledge exchange, partnerships, commercialisation, and the Surrey Research Park.

In 2015, Doug founded In-Space Missions to develop space enabled services and offer expert advice. Doug has delivered consultancy to government, academia and industry; created the Faraday demonstration platform; and founded a company delivering real time immersive video from space.

The Satellite Applications Catapult is an independent innovation and technology company, created to foster growth across the economy through the exploitation of space. Eddie is the Knowledge Exchange Manager at the Satellite Applications Catapult and is responsible for leading the Catapult's academic engagement, working with the world class research base, and supporting the development of research and new ideas through commercialisation.

Ian Williams is a Professor of Applied Environmental Science and Associate Dean (Enterprise) within Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.

Prof Martin Barstow is the PI of the SPRINT programme. He has been involved in many space missions and published more than 300 papers.

Matthew Stuttard is at Airbus Defence and Space Ltd in the Space Systems division.

Rob Desborough is a Partner at Seraphim Space Fund and CEO of Seraphim Space Camp.

William Wells is the University of Leicester’s Commercial Director.
