Data fusion from both in-situ hardware and Copernicus sources (MACC-II) to formulate information on air quality. Successful deployment of these new tools which are complimentary to SCOOT and other UTC systems will enable local authorities to influence air quality in urban areas, thus potentially avoiding financial penalties imposed by the EU for failing to ensure minimum air quality standards are met.
